You should purchase this product if you are planning to change your OEM Rear Wheel on a LBX, Talaria or E-Ride Pro to a wider rim. For example, 16″ or 18″ Wheels, and run a wider profile MX Tyre. This kit will push the wheel out away from the chain, so that less of your tyre tread will hit the chain. We cannot guarantee that you may still not have to shave your tyre, however, it will substantially improve the spacing.
If you choose not to run this kit, you will almost certainly encounter problems or shave a large part of your tyre if you go wide. You do not need to purchase a different chain.
